The President met with representatives of the volunteer movement and presented the Golden Heart award. We are honoured that our organisation was among those recognised for its work supporting the armed forces.
“I don’t consider us volunteers in the classical sense. However, 60% of our military-related work is truly pro bono. I'm pleased that our team had the opportunity to see our efforts acknowledged today,” said the head of Pryncyp, Liubov Halan.
We also used this opportunity to meet with the President to highlight key issues that we continuously advocate for. We are striving for systemic and effective changes for Ukrainian military personnel.
Furthermore, we sincerely thank Kateryna Chernogorenko for nominating Pryncyp for this recognition. We value our collaboration with the Ministry of Defence on high-quality implementations.
The Golden Heart award was established by the President in 2022. Since then, it has been awarded annually on International Volunteer Day to individuals who have made a significant contribution to volunteer assistance and the development of the volunteer movement.
