Justice for the warrior is worth every effort: Pryncyp's 2025 Report

15.01.2026

In 2025, the Human Rights Center for Servicemen "Pryncyp", uniting 29 professionals, implemented 14 projects and published 18 analytical studies to protect the rights of Ukrainian service members.

In the field of advocacy, "Pryncyp" supported the establishment of the Military Ombudsman institution (the respective law came into effect in October), contributed to the reorganization of the training approach for support services alongside the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and hosted the large-scale conference "Human in the Military 2025". Furthermore, in collaboration with partners, we developed concepts for the state veteran policy and medical check-up services for veterans following their discharge from service.

The organization relaunched its own online educational platform, where 2,100 participants completed training across 17 educational products designed for the military, veterans, and lawyers. Thanks to the Pro Bono Lawyers Community, which brought together 140 professionals, 710 cases were resolved free of charge, securing over UAH 10.1 million in payments for wounded service members.

At the same time, our self-help tool, the "Legal Navigator", garnered 158,000 unique views over the year, and a separate version specifically for foreign volunteers was also launched.
